- Removed the code that prevents people with a (WANTED) flag from buying
at a shopkeeper. (Nazdar)
- TPenchant now has the chance to randomly add any of the 6 stats, now
just int, wis and luck. (Scars)
- Dodges have long been over powered. When you are fighting multiple
opponents, all dodges will now be less effective against the attackers
other than the one you are aimed at. This also adds a little more
realism, you would naturally focus more on the person you were
attacking and dodge their blows more easily than a second and third,
person attacking you. This change does applies less when fighting
(some) aggressive mobs and PVP. Note also that multiple players on
a mob also get this change. (Tyanon)
- Aardwolf now has no concept of 'skill groups'. If your classes can use
a skill or spell, you get it, with no need to 'gain it'. This is another
step towards adding subclasses. The bonus trains granted during remort
have been reduced some because you no longer need to gain skills and
spells. Although it is no longer as relevant, I have
decided to keep the "Skill level" option in during creation as it
gives helpers and imms an idea of how much help someone is likely to
need.
