Aardwolf News 19 June 2007
There is a new berserker skill called 'enrage'. This skill has a
short duration time and recovery, both of which are based on con.
While this skill is up, all damage you inflict, AND receive, will
be increased up to double, again based on con. This is not a levelling
skill, there is some strategy to it, particularly in groups/raiding.
If you and the target both have enrage up then the damage stacks -
both players do the extra damage which is then multiplied again because
the target also has enrage leading to some crazy damage, do the math.
There is another new berserker skill more geared towards levelling:
insanity. This is basically an enhancement of berserk and cannot be
used at the same time as berserk. It also cannot be used while the 'rage'
recovery is on, but has no recovery itself. It costs half your moves
and you must have at least 1000 moves to use. The bonus is based
on CON/STR and do a lesser degree, luck. Enrage and berserk together
is fine, enrage and insanity together should not be possible.
Casting wolf spirits while you are outside and the three moons are up
will give a bonus to the spell, but, shorten its duration.
If you tried to 'aid' someone who was fighting you got the incorrect
message that they were already aided. This block has been removed.
Think I've fixed the display on 'You receive 5 experience point'.
There's a lot of different ways this message is generated so let me
know if any were missed - thanks!
Rogue clan's v2 clanskill is now in.
If an online player is AFK with an afk message set, it will now
display in finger.
Reduced the lag on backstabbing a target not there. Added the same
lag to spamming backstab when you have the recovery.
I changed the 'remove all affects' code on entry to warfare, lasertag
and warfare exit with a victory. Spells that cannot be cast from
object and can only be cast on self will not be removed, which should
cover most of the subclass affects that have recoveries. Let me know
of any that aren't set correctly. Also need to test that they still
*are* removed on death (including warfare death). Thanks.
There is a new option to 'allspells'. You can already use the
syntax 'allspells ' to see skills/spells in a specific
subclass. The new option is somewhat the reverse of that:
'allspells warrior subclass'
Will show all warrior skills in a subclass and which subclass(es) get
them. Date Posted - 06.19.2007
