- Damroll now plays a more important role in PVP damage.
- The tier 'heal bonus' is gone. This was, imho, a duplicated bonus as
tiers already get enhanced heal by virtue of cheaper stats and more
options for higher stats from higher level eq. Wisdom is still the
most important thing for figuring out amount of hps recovered from
'heal'.
- Same applies to the sanc bonus - it was being duplicated by a hard
coded affect AND additional stats. It is now 1% per tier v2s 2%,
which isnt as much of a change as you think as it has been 1.5 for
months and nobody even noticed. Increased the effect that wisdom has
on sanctuary.
- Healing during pvp has been halved. This is a trial and may or may
not be removed depending how it works out. If it *is* removed it will
be based on hard evidence that it was a bad change for the mud overall,
not complaints because quaffing is less effective in pvp.
- You cannot switch from fighting a player to fighting a mob via 'aim',
otherwise you could just switch to fighting a mob, be considered not
in pvp to get some full healing in then switch back. Other ways to
do this are bugs and should be reported please. A nice side effect
is that if you attack someone fighting a mob they will still be getting
full heal until they aim to you.
- All rebuilds done during the next two weeks will be considered 'free'.
Ignore what 'rebuild check' states, when you actually rebuild it will
be done as a free one. Make sure you've read help rebuild and understand
how it works - for example, you will not get back trains spent on
gaining skills, as you'll still have those skills. Date Posted - 02.02.2004
